Looking through the glass - Art & Design Diploma’s Final Major Project

Mixed-media illustrated zine and exhibition at Manchester School of Art Degree Show 2022



This project involved documenting what I saw out of a window every day for a month. The illustrations were collated into a book and encouraged audiences to take more notice of the world and to appreciate the mundanities of living in modern day Britain.

The project was inspired by my house-bound teenage years, where looking through a window was my only view into the world. From this experience, I learnt to appreciate the beauty of the mundane and find joy in the little details of life.
