Little People Having a Little Party - Manchester Poetry Library Project

Curated for an exhibition in the Manchester Poetry Library, this project was based on the short poem ‘Little People’ by Chrissie Grittins, about a group of giggling Little People that lived in a child’s bedroom.

After researching into the folklore behind ‘little people’ my project focused on character development and creating a fun narrative-based screen-print for the exhibition. I took inspiration from swing jazz music, classic children’s party clothes, and the random objects within my house that made musical noise.
